Tevin Pruitt

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Tevin Pruitt graduated from Cleveland State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and is currently studying for a Master’s of Science in Accounting with CPA track degree from Post University. Dedicated to his hometown, he remained in Cleveland after graduation and began working in the private sector whilst volunteering with various Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and financial education programs throughout the city and for family and friends with businesses and tax problems. After volunteering at a Cleveland public school with Junior Achievement, teaching youth about banking, budgeting, spending and saving, Tevin knew he had a penchant for leveling with people from all walks of life, and a desire to reach and show them the way to valuable financial tools and education.

Tevin Pruitt started TJP Accounting in 2022 with the ambition of reaching farther into the surrounding communities of Cleveland to provide all people in Northeast Ohio solutions for tax preparation, bookkeeping, budgeting, credit counseling and ultimately becoming financially literate and responsible.

With sliding scale fees, value adding services at no extra cost, and a above and beyond approach, it is the sole motivation of Tevin Pruitt and TJP Accounting to provide impeccable service and to reach those who want to get the most quality at an affordable cost.

Tevin Pruitt still resides in Cleveland, Ohio with his 5-year-old son and 2-year-old Labrador. When not tackling tax problems or helping customer unload debt, you can find him loading weights onto the rack at Lifetime Gym or serving more people in need in the Matthew 25 Alive Pantry on 2^nd Saturdays at The Word Church.
